“Exploring the experience of cancer through this workshop showed me fears and joys that I had encountered during my healing that I was not even aware of before I simply began to write them down.  It has become a

way to read my own story, a story that would have been lost to me without this tool, this process,

this gift.  — Nora Quinn

“Stacie has the touch of a magician in her ability to extract the very best from her students. She is unwaveringly supportive and has a keen eye

and ear for “what works” dramatically.

Working with her has been a pure pleasure.”

“Stacie is awesome at helping people develop their stories and turn them into great and moving performance pieces.”

Once a week you share it with the class, and they tell you what they liked, what they heard, and what they didn't hear, and then you go home and do whatever that suggests to you.

Or not.

Once a month, we share our works-in-progress with a friendly audience (people who love and support you, or anyone else you dare to invite) just to see how it lands on 'real people' who haven't heard it before.  This class is like a breath of fresh air.  It cleans the clogs out of your writing, like a good vacuum cleaner.

Extra bonus: you learn to listen better.”
